Do you think this girl will loose interest?

A girl really liked me and stalked me during lunch like some girls these days do. She started liking me in october and still liked me through out the school year despite the fact that I was to nervous to ask her out. Bit when my friends told her I liked her she wanted me even more and she tried even harder for me to ask her. She would stick around waiting for me to ask her out. But 2nd last day of school my friend took both of us unexpectidally and put is 1 foot apart, he told me to ask her out right in front of her, she had a slight smile on her face but I choked up and we just stared in eachothers eyes for 10 secs but she got nervous and backed up to regroup with friends which giggled and stared at me. So she left school knowing I liked her cus she didnt come to school the next day which was the last day. Do you think she might loose interest in me during the summer? She did seem kinda obssessed.
