Am i pregnant? i cant tell?

I had my last period on the 28th up thru the 30th ... today is a new month nd its the 23rd. Now I took a pregnancy test and it said not preggo but I didn't pee for exactly 20 secs like it said. Is that ok? And I haven't gotten my period yet that's why I tested myself and bc I had unprotected sex. My boobs have been hurting for a week n some now. Is this ok? I have the urge to pee tho n not much comes out.
